Dr. Kristen Watt grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona where she received a Bachelor of Science at Northern Arizona University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Watt is Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry and is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist. In addition to her training in the medical management of ocular disease, she completed an external rotation specializing in medically necessary contact lenses for challenging cases including keratoconus, corneal transplants, irregularities, and refractive surgery complications. She is also certified in corneal refractive therapy (CRT), a non-surgical alternative to LASIK that has also been shown to reduce the progression of nearsightedness in children.
Dr. Watt has also been a passionate equestrian her whole life. When she is not in the office taking care of patients, you can find her riding her horses, Chex and JJ.
